Unique Corporate Event Venues in New Orleans
As New Orleans event planners, we might be biased, but we think New Orleans is the perfect destination for corporate events and brand activations. From the ancient oaks draped in Spanish Moss to the incredible historic architecture, not to mention the mouthwatering food and beverage scene, the city serves as a beautiful backdrop to retreats and getaways year round.
We’re always scoping out the most unique venues for hosting pop-up events in New Orleans. Below, you’ll find both stunning spaces that speak to the culture and charm of the Crescent City as well as flexible venues that can transform to suit a variety of programming needs. While not exhaustive by any means, we hope this list serves as a starting point as you plan your New Orleans corporate event.
Nestled on the outskirts of the French Quarter, you’ll find the Joy Theater. This restored 1940s movie theater with art deco features sits in a great location right on Canal Street and boasts a huge capacity (more than 1,000 guests). While the art deco details speak to New Orleans history, the space is easy to transform and works great for big dance parties and conference-style programming alike.

Situated in the heart of the French Quarter, time and time again we turn to Jewel of the South for brand installations and activations. Their elevated food and beverage program plus the indoor and outdoor spaces (featuring a lovely New Orleans courtyard) make it an ideal venue for lunchtime networking, cocktail party mingling or even a late-night DJ dance party.

Painstakingly renovated and thoughtfully designed, Hotel Peter and Paul is a former church and school turned boutique hotel that dates back to the 1860s. Located in New Orleans’ vibrant and artsy Marigny neighborhood, we often turn to this venue for experiential marketing campaigns for its spacious indoor and outdoor areas, a James Beard finalist food and beverage catering partner (check out Bacchanal) and high-end onsite accommodations for event guests. We love partnering with Hotel Peter and Paul for weddings, artist retreats, holiday parties, fashion shows, markets and more.

Teeming with Old New Orleans charm and rich in history, the New Orleans Athletic Club is a sprawling athletic club and events venue in a great French Quarter location. Between the library, the bar, the ballroom and the courtyard, the possibilities for events in this space are limitless. For our purposes, we appreciate NOAC’s versatility, its indoor and outdoor spaces and its ability to accommodate a range of capacities, from 50 to 500 and up.

Originally constructed in 1906, the Civic Theatre located in New Orleans’ CBD makes for an incredible backdrop for an unforgettable brand activation. Their impeccable audio/visual capabilities are worth mentioning, as well as their in-house bar service and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces that can comfortably host 400. Transforming this space to suit a variety of aesthetics and needs really gets us going.
